The club is committed to the mentoring, supporting and coaching of elite cricket skills and knowledge to a group of Premier Cricket players, in order to create strong, united competitive teams that will be sustainable into the future.
We support the rich history and culture of the game of cricket. We do this by always adhering to our club ethos and vision, as well as always playing within the spirit of the game.
We will always show respect to captains, team members, opponents, umpires, scorers, club volunteers and respect the game’s traditional values.
Our supporters, parents and partners will always display a friendly supportive manner, and will respect that it is the responsibility of the umpires and team captains to conduct and control the match.
Our style of play will be recognised by opponents and spectators as dynamic and competitive while respecting the spirit of cricket. It will be a positive attacking style of play while remaining respectful to our teammates and the opposition.

Sydney Cricket Club plays Premier Cricket with three open grades and an under-18 team in the Brewer Shield. We’ve has great success over the years, with nine club championships, six 1st grade premierships, two T20 cups and premierships in 2nds (one), 3rds (two) and Brewers (four) since the turn of the century.
We’re home to the current Australian captain, Alyssa Healy, another international (Jahanara Alam, Bangladesh), two players with first class experience (Maitlan Brown and Kira Churchland) and a host of players in the Cricket NSW pathways.
We support local juniors with an emerging players program and strong links with local clubs, while also ready to bring in the best of overseas talent.
