AW Green Shield

The AW Green Shield is the premier competition for young male cricketers, and is a very important pathway to grade cricket. 

We’re now accepting applications from young cricketers to trial with us to join our under-16 program for 2026/27. That program includes the Cubs Academy, the Development Program and the Green Shield squad.

To be eligible, players must be under 16 on 31 August 2026 – i.e. born on or after 1 September 2010.
