Green Shield trials

Applications open

Applications are open for players who’d like to try out for the Sydney Cricket Club’s AW Green Shield for season 2023/24.

As always, we envisage a high number of applicants and there for not all applicants are guaranteed a trial.

At Sydney Cricket Club we see AW Green Shield as a steppingstone into Premier Cricket. It is our view that Green Shield players would want to represent Sydney Cricket Club in Premier Cricket for many years to come.

To qualify for AW Green Shield trials, it will be an expectation that you play School First XI, Representative Cricket, or NSW Pathway Cricket.

Applications will close Friday 31 March and successful applicants only will be notified of the trial dates and details following that date.
