Drummoyne to host stars

What’s on

To celebrate our 125th anniversary, we’re holding a party on Monday 3 October, part of the Labour Day weekend.

Come to Drummoyne Oval for a day of cricket followed by dinner and entertainment.

Gates open at 11.30 for the start of a most unusual T20 double-header between Tigers’ 1st grade and the SCG XI 1st grade. The men’s divisions of the two clubs will play, as will the women’s divisions, all at the same time. It will go like this:

  • at 12 midday, 1st innings of the women’s game
  • at 1.30pm, 1st innings of men’s game
  • at 3.00pm, 2nd innings of the women’s game
  • at 4.30pm, 2nd innings of men’s game.

When it’s over, there’ll be dinner and drinks, images of greats past and present on the big screen, and a few speeches. We’ll wrap up by 10.00 pm.

It’s free, but we’d like to know who’s coming so we can get the catering right. So please ‘buy’ your free ticket here.
And we’ll let you know both the team line-ups and the music line-up when they’re confirmed.
